Shipping Policy

Every Safar order travels in its illustrated coffret, wrapped, sealed and dispatched from our atelier. This policy covers delivery for all orders placed on www.safarscents.in within India.

1. Delivery options & charges

  • Standard delivery — complimentary across India. Arrives in 2–5 working days; usually 2–3 working days in major metros.
  • Express delivery — ₹199. Arrives in 1–2 working days in major metro cities, fully tracked door to door.

2. Dispatch

Orders placed before 2:00 PM IST on a working day are dispatched within 24 hours. Orders placed after the cut-off, or on Sundays and public holidays, are dispatched on the next working day.

3. Tracking

The moment your parcel leaves us, you receive a tracking link by email, SMS or WhatsApp. We ship with leading courier partners such as Bluedart and Delhivery, chosen by speed and reliability to your PIN code.

4. Serviceability

We deliver to most PIN codes across India. If your PIN code turns out to be unserviceable after you order, we will contact you promptly with alternatives or issue a full refund. At present we ship within India only — international shipping is on our route map, and the travelogue will hear about it first.

5. Address changes & failed delivery

Need to correct an address? Write to care@safarscents.in immediately — changes are possible any time before dispatch. Our couriers attempt delivery up to three times and will contact you between attempts. Parcels returned to us as undeliverable are refunded in full, less any re-shipping you ask us to arrange.

6. Delays

Weather, festivals and regional disruptions can occasionally add a day or two to a journey. If your parcel is meaningfully delayed, write to us — we will chase it with the courier and keep you informed until it is in your hands.

7. Damaged in transit

If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, note it with the courier where possible and report it to us within 48 hours with photographs, per our Refund & Return Policy. Replacements are on us.
